I absolutely loved my stay here. the friendly staff made checking in a breeze, and the cleanliness of my room was impressive, truly enhancing my city exploration experience as I easily walked to nearby spots like the Birmingham Museum of Art and the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame.

We explored the art museum and enjoyed a night out at a local pub. The rooftop bar had a great view, and the staff were super friendly. They really took care of us, addressing our concerns with a smile. Overall, it was a memorable trip worth repeating!
However, the musty smell throughout the property was a bit disappointing. It really affected the overall vibe of the stay, which was a letdown since we expected more from this historic spot.

my stay at the curio collection was wonderful! the front desk employee, teri, was an absolute joy. she made our experience fun and engaging. the location is also great, within walking distance of many excellent restaurants. the rainfall showers in our mobility-accessible room were particularly spacious, and the bar service was top-notch, especially the mojitos from the rooftop bar.

The King Room was pretty comfy with modern vibes. It had a roll-in shower which was nice, but the layout felt a bit cramped. My favorite part was the view from the window. it let in a lot of light! The noise from the street was minimal, so we could relax. Overall, solid stay, but a bit more space would have been awesome.

Great location near the arena.
The staff seemed overwhelmed when the systems went down, and we waited nearly two hours for our room key. Additionally, the room was filthy, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I expected much more for the price we paid.

The rooftop bar was a highlight with stunning views and lively atmosphere. Breakfast was a treat despite minimal options. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, although not entirely like the online photos.

The breakfast was incredible, especially the omelettes, and the waitress was exceptionally attentive, ensuring I was served quickly. However, issues arose with cleanliness, as the area appeared dirty, and features like one towel hook made the bathroom feel unfinished. Accessibility was a concern as well, with elevators frequently out of service.

I loved the charm of the Redmont, especially with its historical significance. The staff greeted me warmly, making me feel right at home. My room was clean and the bed was super comfortable—really inviting after a long day. I enjoyed the little details, like the flat-screen TV and coffee facilities. The location was perfect for my meetings downtown, and I appreciated the great dining options nearby. However, I was really disappointed with the hot water issues during my stay. It was frustrating to have lukewarm water for showers, especially after long days out. The restaurant's service felt a bit underwhelming and took longer than expected, which could use some improvement. Overall, my experience had highlights but definitely needs some tweaks.

We were in town for a family graduation and appreciated the friendly staff, particularly Teri at the front desk who made check-in fun and engaging. Unfortunately, our room had a ruined sheet that detracted from our comfort, and the valet parking fee felt excessive at $48 per day. Despite these issues, the hotel’s proximity to local attractions was convenient, making it easy to explore the area, including the Birmingham Museum of Art and the convention complex.

The rooftop bar was great, fantastic views, drinks were solid, and the bartender was easy to talk to, really chill vibe. Plus, I gotta say, I was impressed that they offered me a pre-ordered breakfast, was packed and ready when I checked out. That’s not common in places like this.
It wasn’t cheap, but it still felt somewhat acceptable for what I got.
